Do you plan on trading a lot?  Bollinger bands are very helpful to determine extended highs and lows, also potential profit taking levels.  Most long term hodL'er of crypto and other assets do not even pay attention to this parameter.

I still look at it from time to time to determine a potential buying opportunity along with fibonacci levels.

Search in youtube. You will be able to find many videos and most of them say same thing. Its easy to understand with those videos. Also check for the videos about pumps and dumps.
