Hey guys,

Ive caught wind that XCP may be having a fork.

Im not to familiar with counterpay so any info on the team / project would be good.

From reading on their forums, the community seem apposed to a fork.

Firstly, why is a fork needed for XCP ? What are the implications ? and why are most of the community opposed to it ?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I think it just cannot work as it should when it is using the bitcoin blockchain. There is a DEX for example, but to place an order you have to pay a BTC fee which is now quite high, so the DEX is useless
