Lets get reddit to accept bitcoin for reddit gold.

I tried creating a reddit thread where people could pledge to buy a reddit gold membership if they start accepting bitcoin for it. I would buy a 12 month one if they did so. How many other people would join me ?

I wouldn't personally buy a 12 month, but that is because any funds that I have going toward online discussions must be going to SomethingAwful first, then reddit.   I can't say I would 'arrow down' this idea either, it makes little sense to me for most sites not to have a payment system in place taking into account other currencies, or at the least, the one that was made for internet transactions specifically in mind.

I'm not 100% certain but I think that means your account has been flagged as a spammer or something. You may want to message one of the mods asking to get your account become an approved submitter one so that this doesn't occur again.
