Then buy more ETH is a good choice.
Altcoin need ETH to buy them and eth's price will go up.

That site will definitely help you a lot if you want to decide buying some alt coins.

There is no effect even if an altcoin gain some price in the market. Bitcoin price is still dependent on its trading volume, if the volume were to decrease a price drop will happen.
