Back in 2013 i made a big mistake in on copying the privatekeys of my litecoin wallet.
I got an MBR error and had to format my HD I used recurva and tried to recover the wallet files. Sadly the wallet was fragmented in two seperate files. Both files also have slightly different dates. (10 days beween each other) Around 20-40% of those wallets are NULLs which is of course a very bad startpoint. i tried the python recovery tools as well sadly with no good result. So it seems like there are barely any options left for me to recover this wallet file.

related to the following post there is an hex sequence coming in front of a privatekey of the multibit bitcoin wallet.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1929323.new#new

the hex code looks like this:
Quote
08 01 12 20
so my question here is. Is there an comparable hex code coming  in front of litecoin wallets?
Maybe if i could recover like 80-60% of the privatekey i could probably brute force the rest of it?
Seems like it could be one of my last options here before i give up.

Cheers
Lewnatic.

we do not need to your LTC. we are here to help each other, so you can use beloww aproach:

frist Method

Recover from a backup file or Recovery using software

The first two methods are simple ways that any beginner user is familiar with, and maybe you've deleted the files in the recovery folder, so here we are introducing a third method in which the files are apparently not in any place of memory. Keep in mind, however, that depending on the type of file you are deleting, you should use the recovery type. For example, if you delete files physically and hit a hard drive, new ones should replace the previous blend components and then perform the recycle operations. There are many other methods, such as local demos and so on.
The first step is to start the software selection selection; I intend to do this today with Segate FILE RECOVERY for Windows, which, according to my experience, is one of the tools for this.
First you'll be logged in to the list of drives on the home screen. To start scanning deleted files, you must right-click on the drive and click Scan.
In the next window, the configuration pane and the scan mode opens.
In this window, the most important thing to note is to search and scan files of one or more specific formats by clicking on the Extra Search for Known File Types and then selecting the desired formats by selecting Known File Types. do. For example, if you just want to restore mp3s, go to Mltimedia: Audio mp3. To just look for this format among the deleted ones.

After scanning, depending on the volume of the drive, it takes a few minutes to finish the scan operation, after which a message is displayed that the recaptured list is displayed below that drive.
By double-clicking on each section, you will be able to enter recovery files in that section.

Then right-click to save any file or folder and then click Recover to open the Recovery Startup box. Then, in the Output Folder, select the file destination on your hard drive and hit OK to finish the operation.

The second method is to use the Recover My Files software
One of the most retrievable data recovery programs on the computer is Recover My Files, which today has the highest download rates on some software sites. With the help of this program, you can easily recover deleted information from the Windows Recycle Bin, internal or external formatted hard drive, malware and virus removal information, as well as sudden shutdown of the system.
Usually one of the common problems with deleted data recovery tools is the speed and recovery of files. Fortunately, in our review, the speed of Recover My Files was really impressive in finding deleted files and also recovering them.
You can use these two software to retrieve your wallet and tell me if you have any questions.

hey thank you. But i think you misunderstood my problem.

i have recovered a corrupted wallet file already. and since the file was damaged by an MBR error it was fragmented as well. Trying to dumping the privatekey fails because the file is damaged so i need to look into the file with an hex editor. Bitcoin privatekeys usually start with an hex flag. And my question is which flag litecoin uses.
