Unfortunately many problems have occured over the past couple weeks and TradeFortress is having some issues. For this reason we, as the CoinChat community, have taken it upon ourselves to relaunch CoinChat. Many thanks go to randomcloud for his generosity in purchasing the new server. However, he can't afford to run it indefinitely. We need your help to start up this amazing community once more and to help us raise funds.

You can help in many ways, by donating to help us raise funds, by spreading the word, even just by using the site once we launch it. We need to pull together and stay strong as a community. We need to educate people about bitcoins and help shape the future of them. We need to give our people somewhere to come and let off steam in a chat room full of all kinds of people. Where ideas are born and relationships forged.

We can do this, I know it!

Any speculations or comments about what has happened regarding inputs.io, TradeFortress or any other related matters are not welcome here. This topic is about the future of CoinChat, not its past.

Please come speak to us on the temporary coinchat server here. As this is only temporary, withdrawals, tips and deposits are not functional.

IMO, http://whiskchat.com/ is much better than coinchat.

Nice to see it back up Cheesy. Make open a donation address for some support?
Thats the idea but I'm waiting on randomcloud to see what he want us to do about that.

The design could do with some work, and how much of the backend is your own work?

Well, that's certainly depressing. I think we all just need to wait off and see what admin says.

I never really understood the point of these sites... It doesn't even have half the features IRC has. Did people earn a lot of money by chatting there?

Why don't you list the features you are missing so badly from IRC ?

I had a bot hosted there with around 100 mBTC on the account. I never deposited a penny there either, all earned through that site. Unfortunately the balances have been reset to 0 now though Cry
