Hi all,

I have a couple of GPU rigs and Antminers L3+ running server PSU, namely HP DPS-1200FB. I noticed that under full load the PSU gets very hot. Any by "very" I mean so hot that I can not hold my finger down to it for more than 2 sec. It doesn't bother me that much as they've been operating like this for weeks but now that I'm planning to build custom closed cases for my rigs excessive heat coming from the PSU might become a serious problem.

Does anyone have any experience with those PSUs and their operating temperatures?

Thanks in advance.

I have used one and bought a second faulty server psu of the same model. Used the outer case from the failty one and cut a hole in it for a fan. Kept the temperature down nicely.
