I just took a trip to the bitcoin machine and there was 4 option Bitcoin Dash Ethurum and Litcoin. I picked bitcoin as that was the currency i wanted. However on the recipe I am saying i have BCH instead of BTC what is the difference would this affect anything as i done it before and I have not received anything in my wallet ever since. Have I just lost my money or?
Contact them/pop in the place you bought it and ask them. They might give you a refund.
Meanwhile, it's likely they gave you bitcoin cash. Download the wallet from electroncash.org. If you want to just convert it to bitcoin then just do so (but you'll have to pay fees). Once you import it to electroncash, you won't get your money back from the original as you have already spent some of it.
