I also know that bitcoin is king, but is that a great possibility? For example, now Ethereum. Or are there any other coins?

It is not about the actual algorithm, every coin has a platform behind it with specific use cases, from all the similar cryptos I don't think an algorithm change will make the btc owners reinvest. you should think of BTC as the gold of all cryptos, people will buy it just because it has value

algorithm is not the matter why people buying bitcoin but the only explain is that bitcoin is the first coin of crypto market so when people invest into it, they think bitcoin is unique and valueable, so in the future, no matter what happen, bitccoin will keep being used by all investors no matter how better altcoins can be.
