Canadian official offered to pay taxes with crypto currency

Norm Kelly, a member of the City Council of Toronto, suggested using Bitcoin to pay taxes on real estate, parking and land

This initiative will be officially presented to the Council at a meeting that will be held on 31 January, where Kelly is going to ask city officials to explore the possibility of using a digital currency to pay taxes.

Norm Kelly is going to suggest the Council of Toronto "digitize" taxes

According to him, hundreds of thousands of companies around the world accept Bitcoin as a means of payment, and he does not understand why governments still do not do this.
