What happened::
I bought two expensive whatches from this user, who has dvertising them at the forum. He gained my trust, but after payment was sent he has not conected to the forum or replied to any email. So he is been hit by a bus or ran with the money.

Why would you even trust him the account has a green trust given in 2014 and also that is because he used some escrow. I don't think he's going to send you any watch. Please please use escrow they will hold the funds after you get the item and it's as described the funds will be given to him. 3 btc is a really big amount be careful next time.

Scams like this are the reason why 99% of my posts are about reminding everyone to use escrow. Do NOT trade without engaging a trusted escrow to mediate transactions here or elsewhere. Scammers dominate this online market. Why would you trust a stranger and send him $50k worth of bitcoins upfront?

This is painful to read.

Scams like this encourage other scammers to put their collective energies in conning people here. They see how easy it is and they dream of that big coup. That super catch.

Please be very careful when dealing with anyone, trusted or otherwise. Use a trusted escrow for maximum protection.

This just killed my day.

To prevent more scams, that account should be tagged and negged until this issue is resolved. I doubt there will be a happy ending to this story but I might be wrong. It might be the holidays preventing him from sending those watches.

I have a feeling this is conclusively and definitely a scam. Honest people almost always communicate fluidly and they usually provide prompt updates. That silent treatment after getting the coins is a major red flag.

I’m still shocked and amazed that OP paid that much money upfront on the strength of that guy’s word alone. That’s a scandalous amount of money.

What ended this story? It would be good to hear result. Sadly, if everything remains unchanged.

P.S. the new year is generally considered a financial transaction is never carried out.

This was a very simple scam. You must be loco to send someone so much money here without using escrow (especially when you don't really know the user).

Would be appreciated if you could leave negatove trust to this user.

He tried it with me. He didn't want escrow as he said he would have to pay for the watch.. I said if you cant front $10K then you shouldn't be doing business here.

then he invited me to transact in person... Like I was going to let him rape me in an alley and take my precious BTC!!

use escrow or transact with trusted traders only!
