I missed out ETH and EOS so is there new and better blockchain out there?  Only thing I could figure out is this,

Blockchain 1.0

BTC
LTC

Blockchain 2.0,

ETH
NEO
LISK
QTUM

Blockchain 3.0

Arcblock
EOS
ICON
NULUS
NEBLIO
Cardano
Aion

Blockchain 4.0

Seele (might be a scam)
Multiversum
Intervalue (might be a scam)

*I will try to update the listing if the new information is available. Please DO NOT invest any coin(s) unless you done extensive research on the coin. Most ICO will fail within one year.*

Thanks for your list.
But I think Arcblock just is a service for blockchains: https://icobench.com/ico/arcblock
"ArcBlock - An open source protocol that provides an abstract layer for accessing underlying blockchains, enabling your application to work on different blockchains.

ArcBlock is a platform and an ecosystem for building and deploying decentralized blockchain applications. The platform goes beyond providing the necessary foundational components for using blockchain to power complex business rules. It connects your existing system to blockchain networks, enabling you to automate business processes using the data and identities associated with existing systems.

ArcBlock’s primary goal is to remove the barriers that have slowed blockchain adoption among the general public. We’re also passionate about developing unique approaches that will significantly advance blockchain development."

A good topic where we can collect some data about third generation.

Why did not you include AION and ADA in the list? Why did NEO and QTUM relate to the third generation?
It is interesting that, by and large, the third generation blockchain has not been fully implemented yet.

In my opinion, in the list you listed, most of the tokens of blockchain 3.0 are block chain 2.0, right?
All have smart contracts.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I think the current 3.0 or 4.0 are all competing in the same category. There is no difference. Ethereum is already very popular and it is hard to surpass. Maybe they only need time.

If I remember correctly, in pre sale they specifically stated as  Blockchain 3.0 on their website, that was main selling point
