Hi,

It's really simple but confusing.

I want to start in bitcoin mining NOT as a hobby, but as a serious issue where I can have profit from.

Shall I begin with 2 or 4 Ati HD 7970 cards crossfired or shall I get the 5 GH/s Bitcoin Miner from BFL.

and I have two more questions please,

1) Why ATi is preferable on Nvidia ?!

2) Am I too late to enter the Bitcoin world ?! I entered it before as a hobby no more, but now I'm serious

Forget electricity, assume there is no fees to pay for electricity, a.k.a free electricity.

Thank you

Don't order from BFL. Don't even consider it. And at this point in the game, GPU mining is pointless, unless you're going to mine Litecoins or something, but that's a whole other topic.

Why GPU mining is pointless now ?

And why not order from BFL ?

And if I want to enter the game, what shall I do then ?

Thanks

I think the jally will make less than $30 by the time you get it, I think there are links around here where you can get a blade from Friedcat for 10.24BTC but you need power and cooling.

If you want to gpu mine go to litecoin or another alt coin. BFL will not deliver your product for probably 6 months at best (1 year is more likely) and is arguably a fraudulent company. If you want to invest in an asic look into buying shares of a larger mining rig with KNC. Or buy from ASICMiner instead.

Difficulty is too high.  You will never get your money back mining bitcoin with 7970 GPU's or a jalapeno.  Even with the current low price of USB block erupters and blades you will barely break even. Just buy and hold bitcoin or possibly a bitcoin mining stock like labcoin or consider participating in a group buy, i.e.

Yes. You are confused. In order to make a profit mining bitcoins, you have to understand how mining works. If you don't understand, you will lose money. So, if you want to make a profit, you must first learn how mining works, including the economics of mining.

For example, you probably don't realize that a 7970 mines less than $20 a month right now, and in 6 months it will be mining less than $1 per month. Even if the electricity is free, a 7970 will never pay for itself.

DON'T BUY FROM BFL. Unless you want to wait for a year and never see roi.
It would be better to buy GPU and mine litecoin or other altcoins.
NO MORE BFL. When will you learn people?
