china wants its citizens to have faith in the US to delivery on the treasury bonds and other US debt instead of falling back on something like bitcoin. maybe china is afraid that a real monetary revolution is going on here, fiat paper currencies are weakening, and the US debt won't matter if the USD is replaced as the global reserve currency
"Nooo, we like US treasury bonds, not Bitcoin!"
