Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum (pleasure to make your acquaintance, btw). I didn't see an area dedicated to trading crypto. If there is a better place to post this, please let me know.

There is a current theory that crashes in BTC price is being driven by large traders that short BTC and then manipulate the markets to drive down the price. CME Futures are currently set to expire on 1/26 and there are theories that we will see another bid price shift near this date.

For a more detailed analysis, please check out the following link:
https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/E25dvVua-BTCUSD-Potential-new-low-on-26th-of-January/

I'm curious what other people's thoughts are on this theory and what strategies your are putting in place if you subscribe to it.

Thanks in Advance (TIA)

Yes, posting this in the Economics>Speculation forum would be a lot more appropriate!
