I believe you want a "wallet". A wallet holds addresses and their private keys. You can go to bitcoin.org to get a list of wallets. I recommend Airbitz for mobile and Electrum for PC/laptop, though they might not be listed on bitcoin.org.

Any cryptocurrency exchange will  automatically generate a bitcoin address for your transactions, but is most advisable to use wallet that you control the private keys so you have full access to your money. Using blockchian.info wallet will enable you to acquire bitcoin addresses which you control.

Bitcoin is a network on which addresses and private keys are generated. Now in order to access that network, you can use some sites such as blockchain.info, bitaddress.org, walletgenerator.net etc. Irrespective of this site you will still be using Bitcoin network.

However, it is not recommended to keep your funds online or say in the wallets which are hosted online. Bitcoin as a technology is very strong and no one can brute force or hack it but if you are keeping your funds on any website then hackers can definitely hack that website and steal your funds. Thus you can use paper wallet or hardware wallet to get your own Bitcoin address and private key which will be under your control and not under the control of any website.

We have sample of wallet here in the beginner's as help page, type also are included there, choose wallet depends on your interests, but I highly suggest wallet with ERC20 property.

did you read OP?

How will you have a bitcoin address ?
What site or link did you have ?
Thanks for answering

he is looking for a "bitcoin address" or a bitcoin wallet, what you are posting here blindly is an Ethereum wallet which doesn't offer what OP is asking for. not to mention that it is is a "web wallet" and they are generally unsafe!

If you are asking about a wallet address, Goto Coinbase.com and create an account. You will find a wallet address for Bitcoin in your account.

Just let Coinbase keep the wallet secured on your behalf - it's much easier. You'll later be able to transfer your funds to your own privately held wallet, if you decide so.

NO. Coinbase might be a good place for newbies to buy bitcoins, but you are simply ripping yourself off if you use them as your go-to wallet.

They overprice you on everything, transaction fees etc. They broadcast unbatched transaction with an average fee of about ~400-300 sat/b, while you can currently get confirmed with 50-100 rather easily.

It's much better to move BTC to your own wallet, where you control the private keys. See electrum for example.
