I have a sort of weird feeling last night. I'm excited to bring my aunt to a landbased casino because she wants to play. So I get ecstatic about it and obviously say yes to her. But when we got to the casino, I suddenly feel depressed, I don't know what this feeling is, I'm very excited and emotionally high as first, but when I started to play, I felt I don't have it anymore, I feel that I'm just going to lose that night, although I still play and double my money, but still still feel weird though, feeling down and sad.

Do you encounter this kind of feelings though? Even though you win you still feel depressed?

I never went to any real casinos to play games but surely if have any such feelings while gambling online then I will not continue my gambling instead just close the site and do some other activities. I will go back to gambling may be after some time or another day.

That's odd. It's the first time I encountered a person who have won $$$ but still felt depressed and sad. Are you sure you don't have any family problem? or anything that would make you feel that way?
Well if you will ask me, that's a very abnormal feeling. You're supposed to be happy, though if money is not important to you (like you have endless of it), it might be acceptable.

Have you considered going to a doctor and getting treated for the same? These are not normal signs, and it could result in bad consequences for you ahead. Alternatively I feel you got turned off in your presence of your aunt, maybe you saw other girls and felt sad you couldn't get a girl or got remembered of your X if you have. I think you need to come out in the open and tell us.

1)   Feeling sad for other reasons while you were in the casino. Something in your subconscious was making you sad.
2)   Feeling sad because you believe it is morally wrong to gamble.

I don't have any experience like you because I am not play gambling at the real casino. but in other situations, I think I have the same experience like you and yes, I think that feeling can makes us feel depressed. I don't know about how it could relate with gambling games, but I feel sad like you and in that time, I don't know what I want to do and I don't do anything.

You win but you still feel depressed. I guess one reason is because of your losses before in landbase or online casino. Eventhough you have doubled your money that night, like you've said. Maybe that isn't enough to cover your previous losses or might be you aren't satisfied with your win and you wanted more.

it sounds to me like you are suffering from depression and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with gambling or going to an actual casino! or maybe you got depressed because you went with your "aunt" instead of going with people your own age and have fun there!

a very interesting fact when we are gambling and winning and earning a lot of money but a feeling of fear is lost, it usually happens by a beginner gambler who still does not understand how to gamble

It seems you have stage fright. That's very common. Our mentally suddenly down after seeing some events or other things that are beyond our imagination. Increasing the flying hours, visiting gambling places regularly, may be able to repel those feelings little by little.

I never feel like that, I will happy if I won every bet in my gambling. I never feel depressed when I won, I feel gambling is my divertissement when I got depressed. Maybe you have something that you think before you came in casinos, and you never can forget it, like broken heart or you have problem with your family. Yeah, this is very strange for me, and just now I hear this incident when someone got money from gambling but he still feel depressed. I suggest yo to check with a psychologist to make sure you have a disorder or still normal like everyone else.

This will always happen that satisfaction of each person is different. Many would not like to enjoy the present and this will never make them satisfy as when you win you will think still their is overall loss. So even those wining moments is being not enjoyed and wasted by thinking about your losses.

Here's my take on what you have felt:

a. Maybe you are too excited to see your aunt and that created a feeling of high to you
b. And then suddenly when you see her and you are inside the casino already, that adrenaline rush wane down, releasing stress hormone.

In any case, you need to seek professional health, either its a mental thingy or you put too much strain (stress) on your body lately.

Well maybe you might have a personal problem and the only one that can answer that is you. When I go to casinos before I never felt that way because my goal is just to play and if I won I'm than more happy. Gambling is too tricky, it can really control your emotion and you might feel guilty of losing your money because of greed that you took that day.

Well, it's just like a matter of unsatisfactory where even like we got something or big one we can't feel the happiness and the contentment in life. It's just like gambling will never make us happy.

Forgot to mentioned that I haven't see her for such a long time, so maybe that's where the excitement came from. Or probably more on a physical thing than mental though. Maybe I got tired or us having fun stories about our family and my mom (she is a sister of my mother, btw). Or maybe I'm just hungry that's why I have that sort of depressive feeling.

Anyways, I don't think that I need to seek medical help though, but thanks for those who have replied.
