So basically I'm a bit silly and left my litecoin on my ledger nano s, I just assumed they would support it and I would have an easy way of obtaining it, how stupid of me!

But am I not able to do the following...?(I must be wrong otherwise someone would have mentioned this method).

1. I would move the litecoin on my nano to a different wallet so they are safe and can't be stolen.

2. Use my 24 seed word on a desktop wallet that supports it and attempt to claim the litecoin cash (not even sure this is possible lol)

3. Factory reset the nano and generate a new 24 seed word (not even sure it generates a completely new one?)

4. Transfer my litecoin back to the Nano on the new 24 seed word

Assistance would be greatly appreciated from any experts out there as I'm obviously wrong on at least one of my points (if not all) lol!

Many thanks in advance!

FYI there will be no fork coming from the litecoin's team,it was announced by charlie lee whos the founder of litecoin.Follow him on twitter for you to be sure, according to him those coins who are clamining to be forked coin from litecoin are all scam,he noted litecoin cash and other coins that are using litecoin's name for their popularity, you need to research before you do anything.

Most of the method you talked of is correct but since you are not sure about what you are about to do,why then do you proceed.

I understand regarding the Charlie Lee claim and I do follow him on twitter, the fork isn't really a scam as such, its just copying their name which is obviously pretty annoying for Litecoin - and they also pre mined an element which is also pretty crap...

I just wanted to clarify with someone Richan that might have more experience than me, as this would be the first time for me claiming a forked coin. I just wanted to check if my thought process was correct..
