minergate / xmrig-nvidia question

Hello all,

i use for mining alt coins the program from minergate.com , i use my own pool addresses.

Till now it works fine for me, even better than xmrig-nvidia.

I try to tweak xmrig-nvidia but the big problem is when i use xmrig-nvidia i cannot work anymore on my pc.
with the minergate program i can still do some basics task on my pc.

i know a pc is not the best for mining, but its for me a learning curve to mining.

Later i gone create a mining RIG by my self , but fist i try to understand the mechanism.

but my main question is, can i tweak the xmrig-nvidia software to not use the full 100% GPU power?
