I suggest mate don't expect too much on this situation because there's always a factor that always exist and manipulate the price suddenly. Especially when bitcoin regaining value because mostly always dump and take that opportunity just to obtain quick profits . So dont assume high value in the future and must wait for results before adding a prediction.
Anyone can do its own research and made his assessment, we do need to do our homeworks and study everything so we can speculate well, opinions by those well known personalities can take some weight as believers usually checked them out and also there's some followers who also chasing their believes, but still it's just assuming and there's no assurance who's gonna make a good call.
This is just the exact thing happening that you have said, so many people you see also speculating on this forum are either using another person’s speculation which they don’t really know how the person came about such value, so as you said, we need to start doing lots of our own research, technical analysis is not supposed to give too many figures for prediction if done well and rightly because its being done on same market we are all using, so If I do my own work very well and I used technical analysis to predict a value, another person should be able to use same analysis to also arrive at same value except fundamental analysis which I know it cannot all work for everyone at once.
