Crypto regulation in may countries are awaited. I believe that crypto regulation should be global (one world one rule). However many countries has regulated crypto due to the huge pressure of investors and traders. Being an honest trader/investor we all are ready to pay tax but that should be legitimate.
I don't accept that the gains from investing in bitcoins should be taxed. Investing in bitcoins is risky, and the profits we get are what we should get, and we put a lot of effort into it.

And I personally have the same opinion, I do not mind paying taxes, as I pay for everything else, but the point is the government to accept the crypto currencies.  Huh

It's okay if it's worth the bitcoin because it helps the country so it's okay, However, we can not violate it once it was legalized to tax the income in bitcoin.

Any profits from crypto in the US gets taxed as capital gains. This only applies when you cash out, so as long as you keep your money in crypto and don't take it out, there is no tax due.

We should pay assesses on the cash we make as it is our ethical obligation and that is the way we can help people the advancement of our nation, yet the administration additionally needs to stop the defilement and that would then be useful for the improvement of the nation and furthermore then the saddled cash will be utilized for right purposes. In any case, if debasement still continues at that point there is no reason for giving expenses, yet government can fuck you up on the off chance that they discover that you haven't paid any duties.

i totally agree with tax regulation. when a government tax on BTC's transaction means they have accepted the legality of Bitcoin. I think this will help Cryptocurrency development.

I also agree if the world's crypto tax imposed by the government, especially in my country Indonesia. but do not let the tax burden to one party. because the tax is too large so bitcoiner Indonesia to complain and burdened with taxes. If the government ignores taxes on bitcoins, many rich people may use bitcoin to avoid taxes. It would be easy for them to avoid taxes by simply converting all their assets into bitcoins. If this continues, the government may completely ban crypto.

It will not good to pay taxes over bitcoin because we chose this because we want to free from external control and only internet is the bridge between sender and receiver so bitcoin is good but if taxes then the demand will affected badly and people are buying and using this currency. when the tax regulations start over this currency the people will move to the altcoins.

This is possible in the future but in my own perception if government will tax us in crypto they will use a lot of government funds due to the fact that they will create a system that will monitor transactions and with that we will suffer but see even though it will be imposed it will be hard for them(govt) since even other businesses dont even pay taxes and they didn't notice it until like after years especially in our country. However the reality is if this will happen most of us for sure will disagree with it.

yes other than we are obedient to the law as a good citizen we have to pay taxes. and I think bitcoin may be taxable as long as the tax is not high. and hopefully with the tax withdrawal. will provide legal protection for bitcoin users ..

of course i vote to the lowest percentage of taxation. 10% is too big for us specially to the user who got a higher rank. because the more you got a money the more tax will deduct on your account. hehe i hope this will be happened when the price of bitcoin is up to or above 100000 dollars.

How can do this? Create a system where people will need to specify their wallets and KYC will be 100% required condition?
It is anti constitutional action...

You can look at this thread created by me with summary of different taxation rules for bitcoin related activity https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3057095.msg31483720#msg31483720

I think bitcoin shouldn't be taxed under capital gain as it also have high risk of loss and quite hard to claim those loss back on final profit. Only the one who will be accepting bitcoin as payment for their goods and services should be charged. Also when someone wants to convert their bitcoin to fiat, they should be charged some % as fee not as tax.

if bitcoin in taxes may be us all users and investments in the world of bitcoin digital would agree on the existence of the tax.
the important thing is not to let the government set taxes too big so that their bitcoiners object to the tax.

If they put tax in bitcoin I know bitcoin is gonna be expensive. But how about us that cant afford bitcoin. Is so hard to have own bitcoin, because some people now are using bitcoin. So dont allow the government will put tax in bitcoin.

Tax on bitcoin is really possible and if the government will be forced to accept the cryptocurrencies just like bitcoin because the popularity and the percentage of people that adopted bitcoin then they will be taxing the cryptocurrency also and i think that it will be the same percentage or required amount to pay from your overall income or personal income from cryptocurrencies.

I agree to have a tax but it should be base on all your transactions if you had profits then the tax rule will apply. Hope the percentage is not so high, maybe 10% is enough.I
