Just read this excellent piece by Moneyweek, very alarming indeed. Thought I'd share it with you all.

Not bad points, the problem is though that these kind of articles almost always place blame in the wrong areas, the moment I saw 'socialism' and 'fascism' I immediately switched off and I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian. It doesn't matter what ideology you follow, if you can't follow basic mathematics ( As David Cameron and most politicians clearly can't ) or basic economics then you are going to royally fuck up a country, company or stall no matter how arrogant you are. The same goes for if the ideology is filled with bad people they will go around committing crimes and killing people for no reason, this is the same kind of mistake that the U.S made in the cold war and the vietnam war where it didn't matter that the people they put in charge were complete assholes just as long as they weren't communist.

This is why I think I hate central bankers more than anything, they not only don't understand basic mathematics ( Like how negative numbers in economics is normally a bad thing etc. ) they have the balls to act smug and arrogant about it, they're the real enemy, not ideologies that actually wouldn't work too badly if they were managed properly and weren't done through force.
