As Newbie and the topic describes my question, what coin to mine?

I have RX 580 4 GB and Ryzen 7 1700 3.0 GHz.

Is worthing to mining Monero or Eth? Or i should go to a smaller coin ?

its up with you, monero and ETH are a decent coins, its just that ETH is somewhat pushing too hard on the card compared to monero.

basically miners have online calculators for reference such as whattomine.com to decide which coins are profitable to mine as of the moment.
