Facebook will ban ads related to ICO and electronic money

According to recent information, facebook will ban ads related to BO, electronic money and ICO. The decision came after the electricity market erupted, leading to a series of fraudulent activities relate to electronic money. "This is a step towards enhancing the integrity and security of Facebook ads". This is a necessary step and a good step forward for the electronic money market, as most of the ICO ads on facebook are low quality ICOs or fraudulent signs.

This is not new, they announced it few days ago, But I dont think it will hurt industry as there are lot more places where ICOs can advertise.

Where is the link with this kind of news? So far I haven't heard those news and the facebook page for cryptos are all okay as of the moment.

This is good news for a couple of reasons. Most ICOs are scams, and most Facebook users don't understand the difference between solid coins like Ethereum and some trash ICO. This will stop naive Facebook users being scammed out of their money, which would obviously be bad for them, but would also be bad for crypto as a whole, as all scams do is slow down adoption.
