To bad, im not holding that much ethereum on that date. Why need that kind of rule ? if its to prevent spam by some airdrop abuse 0.5 is enough i guess, and i kinda have it xD

Yeah, everyone is solving the scalability problem. Ethereum are doing it, IOTA are doing it, Hashgraph are doing it, RaiBlocks are doing it, EOS are doing it. But nobody has done it yet. This is what is important.
And even if someone solves it, but all other aspect of their blockchain sucks, than what is the benefit of having a fast network that nobody wants to use?
