Are ICOs requiring purchase limits?!

What ICOs have had a limit to the amount of tokens that can be purchased? And were there any negative repercussions to said limit? would the negatives of having a max purchase outweigh just letting everyone buy however much they want?

yes I think is needed because even though ico is good, the project is condemning the team and the team is the one who can mengaji own team.
