You will be able to send data, tokens and create networks without the internet.

Explanation video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5bppdd96do

Website:
https://smartmesh.io/smart/index.html

Plus it is only $0,16 cents now, volume going up.

I saw the intro video on youtube. I was surprised how that would be possible without internet. But looks like any transactions made would be saved until you have a internet connection and you syncronize.
So lets say you send SMT tokens to someone while you are online, the receiver wont get the tokens immediately. He will only receive them after you have internet connection and both of you synchronize your devices.
I am not being pessimist about this project since everything is doing well but nothing revolutionary IMO.

It looks like an interesting project but with the current price of.21 Cents and a total supply of 3 billion coins that make the market capitalization at 700 million almost. Way to high for the current project but I can definitely see the potential in the future. This might be good for a long time hodler but not short term.

the circulation supply is about 70% of the maximum supply.
mktcap should be around 430 million right now.

the ICO is already done.

the project has a lot of promise - good project and good backing = a lot of confidence, so therefore has a market cap that is already large. It's not unreasonable though. Cardano had a market cap of 1 billion before any roadmap or code was released. IOTA was also at 1 bn at a pretty early stage.

if you read the whitepaper you will figure out that: no internet needed AT ALL.
This is revolutionary.
Top 10 coin in the future.

So if I've got this right going over things..
It's a mobile P2P network that requires no "internet"?

Mobile devices working on a network are using the internet! Just a wireless form.
I have more faith in wired myself.

Seems pointless, unless some one can explain to me how a mobile phone with no data connection could connect to an outside network.

Whitepaper: https://smartmesh.io/smart/SmartMeshWhitePaperEN.pdf

"SmartMesh is a blockchain-based IoT underlying protocol that enables smartphones, onboard
devices and other devices to connect to each other without the internet."

"SmartMesh Mesh is a decentralized peer-to-peer distributed network that functions either Internet
access is available or not."

"SmartMesh Mesh aim to enable a Global Mesh Network parallel to the Internet. Every
SmartMeshphone is like a SmartMesh. A single spark can start a wild fire on a prairie. With the
increase in Fireflies, mobile SmartMesh nodes create a network of their own; the apps would be
SmartMesh enough to choose a path for each data packet, over Internet or SmartMesh Mesh. Blockchain was on PC nodes only, and now they are making their ways to SmartMeshphones with
mobile light node technologies, which allows crypto currencies trading whether access to the
Internet is available or not. SmartMesh off-Internet Payment lets crypto currencies can be traded
even when the Internet is off"

"SmartMesh builds a mesh network that is parallel to the internet based on P2P direct connection of
smartphones"

offline mesh networks already exist

Looked at the specs found on website and watched the video. To be clear, it IS NOT a completely offline system. It still depends on the user syncing their transactions online constantly with the RAIDEN network. This coin kind of feels similar to IOTA and all those other internet-of-things coins.

Nevertheless, it seems like an undervalued coin for only $0.16 so, good find.

Not trying to take away from the coin I'm just trying to clear up something very misleading.
Any crypto network requires internet access to make a transaction, a network which can store transactions offline and resynch once back online is not a system which requires no internet, it's a system where you can make a decision without internet and have it go through once on a network.

There are other coins that do this, if a coin produced some fairy dust and was able to work without the internet it would become a top 5 coin, but in my eyes this is currently impossible.

Will take a look either way though, it's still an improvement over strictly online.

Everything will work without the internet. You cellphone will work as a node.

There will be Smartmesh token, and MESH token.
They just release a new video about MeshBox, responsible for working as a router for mesh networks, parallel to the internet.

This is how coins and wallets work already, not really an exciting function a project can build on.
