As far as I know there does not exists any chat rooms but yes few people coming together have created a whats app group where they do similar thing. But yes you do not have any guarantee about genuineness about the people as there is no verification of the person is done. So its risky to join it. showing incorrect statistics ( online members or total members ) is just to make you get into & see inside what is a chat group is all about ,since I see numbers of people don't know how to use slack app as they are new to it.  I can see numbers of pending invitations and out of 30+ registered people 3-4 actually know how to use slack community app. once we reach a decent number of users online . I will show the actual online user status . sorry for that  exaggerated Stat

before starting this I had a planning to launch a full fledged discussion board or forum  for us and i had bought that domain . now instead of keeping the domain ideal I redirect it to the chat group   . I have dropped the idea to start  a complete forum board like bitcointalk for us. A request as you have already joined the chat room ,give us some suggestion to make it better and useful. Thanks

Creating such stats is a bad idea as I understood your plan for getting members, however your plan was creating a forum and maintaining it.
Can I ask you what is your budget? as I already made some forums in the past and sold them not BTC forums.
If you want to start a community, then it is good also the revenue will be huge if users performs in the forums. let me know how much you are willing to spend on your community and do you have a license of Xenforo?

No specific chat boxes for Indians , though you can find many on Telegram, slack, and discord.
I would recommend you to look out for Indian communities on Facebook.
