Dear forum users, do you think that the practice of reporting for Bounty is needed?
Or does a good administrator have tools that will allow him to keep records automatically?

I'm not a bounty manager but I always thought there should be a better way to report facebook and twitter posts/shares etc. Right now they're mostly just linked to in masses of posts on bounty threads. I would've thought that some google sheet could be created where they could post their links and then all of the information could be collated in to a spreadsheet. Both cleaning up the threads and making it easier for bounty managers. I guess there has to be a reason that none of them have done this as of yet? It would be interesting to get the perspective of a bounty manager on this.

In many altcoin bounty campaigns reporting of work is needed. Some of them tough have automated tools which check bounty participants (read bots  Roll Eyes) or have a google form so that reporting is done outside the forum and not in the thread itself.

In my opinion reporting for bounties leads to only one thing = spam. Specially the quote pyramids of shitposters which include 10-12 weeks of facebook and twitter reports. Its really pathetic to see these posts and does put off the readers of the thread.

However if you are willing to apply in a bounty that needs reporting - then you have no choice but to follow suit. I personally avoid such bounties.

Reports may need be done, but they certainly shouldn't be posted on the forum hopefully theymos is considering this and will put a rule which requires them to move to off site. They could still discuss about the bounty in the thread.

report is needed to keep track of bounty hunter work. But i think that it's better if only require a proof post of joining campaign on bounty thread and then submit work via google form or other site, example https://my.bountyguru.com, instead of long report, quote week by week like now.

It is not a responsibility of forum administration to provide a separate section for bounty reporting, i think bounty managers should provide portals for reporting or they can use google docs for this purpose.
The reporting of bounties is seriously flooding the data base of forum, they should need to look into this matter.

I avoid and rarely joined on those kind of bounties. Specially with jamal as it causes spam and it really slowed down the website.

I am completely agree with you, I think that a self-respecting administrator of Bounty must have all the necessary tools to test the work!

I would suggest to check atriz bounty campaigns. He uses google forms for the reports of the participants that joined his bounty campaign. It is very effective because the spreadsheet are very organize every each reports done.

Also it seems to me that the reporting system allows for admin to save on rewards (! The work is well done, but the report is not delivered or delivered late and a week does not count!!!

And I think or of course, it consumes data. This report only happens because of the campaign manager's decision. I see a lot of Bounty Campaign or a signature campaign that you don't need to make a report just to eligible for payment. Hopefully, admin add that rule. That post also counts as 1 activity in future if not deleted.
