Questions about token contracts

Can token that have smart contracts have different contracts added to that token after launch to perform different task or does it all have to be done in the beginning

I faced this problem but not exactly what you wrote about it.
please consider:
1- per token has 1 contract and 1 contract code
2- if token sellers going to change the contract code they must reserve another code for token and replace it
3-in some cases in etherdelta some coins faced this problem and provided with other name
