Hi,
Please forgive if this is answered elsewhere - I've looked and all I'm pointed to is the development of new DLLs.

I'm trying to run CGMiner on Windows Server 2003 (fully patched and up-to-date).

CGMiner loads fine and gives me the standard "open-device-failed, need to install WinUSB driver err-12" message.  I've already installed the Silicon Labs drivers, and when I load up Zadig to change the driver there's no option for 'WinUSB'.  The only two options available are 'libusbK (v3.0.5.16)' and 'libusb-win32(v1.2.6.0)'.

I'll continue to research but if anyone has any input it would be most appreciated.

The Silicon Labs UART driver is for bfgminer and BitMinter. If you have it installed cgminer won't recognize your devices in my experience.

If you want to use cgminer, uninstall the UART driver and then use the zadig utility.
