I stayed from HitBTC so far because I heard a lot of bad things about this exchange. Let alone what this thread is about, there are a lot of other accusations as well.

Unfortunately many cryptos are solely trading there so people are forced to sign up there. Now Im in the same situation, I need to sign up at HitBTC to buy a crypto that will only be traded there. But as I tried to sign up, the site wont let me. Well guess thats that then, it just shall not be.

It's sad to know that one of those long-standing exchange has a bad reputation already. I am thinking of depositing to this exchange because of the ICOs that I am following is listing first in this exchange but then found out about this problem. I would have deposited some funds already thanks to this forum for the info. I should just wait then for the next exchange that they will be listed in. I hope that this will not happen to other exchanges because it seems to be starting to have some issues already but I hope it will not reach to this point.

Hi,

I faced same issue sometime back when my bought tokens from hitbtc got disappeared and HITBTC support people replied that they cant return money.

Few days after above incident i lost my login as i could not use my 2FA authentication and support people not replying for my ticket raised for resetting my 2 FA. Since then i am not able to login to my account for accessing my remaining tokens. HITBTC support people do not care of this incident.

These guys seems to be scam and fraud.

[Updated]
Preliminary enquiries showed that the problem may be caused by the "AMM Fraud Event" of HitBTC, which happened a month ago.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This Thursday, I deposited some SC(Siacoin) from other exchange platform to my "wallet address" of HitBTC. However, it hasn't arrived yet.
And I found that my SC wallet address was changed secretly while the transaction's ongoing. After I refresh the page, the wallet address changed again!
It means that I deposited my coin to an isolated address and I may lost my coin forever! It's caused by HitBTC secretly! I'm scammed by it!!!!

The transaction ID: 58391e66a6af9d6a3ebe367b5da0cdf3836f81895c1a068c7216e23efea88557
Old SC wallet address which I deposited my coin to: 1c75fd49c89ad9964c4383e73c1f239ca54a8fe3ed76511537533b70600f08364781c7c26ff8
Now my SC wallet address has been changed to: c91085412d56db556ed651020bb94fb9513fd5939dabdd70380c606053065a6d23680e906d47

I turned to HitBTC support for help, but I've not got any response. So I entered the forum of HitBTC: https://forum.hitbtc.com/

It's shocking that there are hundreds of topics about the same condition--deposit and withdrawal requests are delayed for several days or even weeks with no response:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2125/12-days-of-waiting
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2156/xrp-has-not-been-deposited-for-3weeks
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2123/xvg-withdraw-5-days-still-not-receive-my-xvg-please-help-me
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/1478/nem-deposit-delayed-finally-credited-now-delayed-withdrawal
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2023/nem-withdrawal-delayed-for-17-days
And above-mentioned topics are only a few of these topics.

Some people even said that their assets disappeared mysteriously, and may be stolen:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/1666/i-lost-my-hvn-after-move-it-to-main-account
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2086/stole-btc-from-my-main-account

And their assets were transferred out to a strange address, which may related with other platforms such as BITTREX:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/comment/6452

In these topics, HitBTC support appears for some time. However, it's useless, no problems have been solved.

It should be noted that this problem cannot be blamed on Ethereum network congestion these days because the same condition happens at other coins which are not based on or related with Ethereum, such as SC, XRP, XEM, XVG and even BTC.

Now I can suspect that HitBTC is defrauding users' assets! I think we should launch a lawsuit against HitBTC, and retrieve our money!
Please help to up this topic:
https://forum.hitbtc.com/discussion/2210/lose-your-coin-token-somewhere-the-txid-hash-is-not-even-on-blockexplorer-or-etherscan-read-this

Though people complain about hitbtc maybe truth but I have never have any problems using this exchange. I see them as being user friendly and most time my funds are easily credited with 1 hours especially if I am transferring from hitbtc to my bitcoin wallets.
Crypto Crypto:
AMM ISSUE read carefully !
Ok people, those concerned with AMM issue read carefully. At the end of this message will be the link to cyber crimes report form of HONG KONG police.

Finally, somebody is going to a good way, but that alone will not be enough, I still think that hiring a lawyer and reporting the case to the police is the best solution, the problems is, this will also take time once these guys are anonymous, not even physical office do not have, and it is unbelievable that an exchange that makes so much money can not have their own physical office or the reason why these exchange do not have physical office is because they simply do not want to take on responsibilities?

Now it's time to have balls and speak up.

They should have taken measures like this a long time ago, many people are in the same situation, in cases like this the union makes the gallows. People must unite and fight for the same cause.

Of a truth most of this acquisition is not verified and we might need hitbtc agent to explain to us their own side of the story of what is really happening! We should also try to open account with them to actually find out what is really happening before making our judgments.
