an ICO involves a lot of things including getting a lawyer. We want a working product before that. Donations is what cryptocurrency is all about. For doing so we will reward you with the tokens. You can chose to donate or not. It's YOUR choice. And since when do airdrops mean "free"? or is that how you comprehend them? the airdrops means they will be in the hands of whoever holds them. Not on exchanges. Thanks for your input.
Also to be clear you will be "airdropped" the coins and not have to purchase on the exchange.
ICO's have to pass the howey test: look it up here for more info https://www.coinist.io/the-howey-test-the-sec-and-ico/ Don't defend this man! requesting contribution of some sought in exchange of a token is definitely not an airdrop but a confirm pre-sale as mentioned above,
it is just unfortunate that most project now are taking advantage of people looking for free airdrop to manipulate them, if you are looking for money to cover some cost in your project, then remove the word "airdrop" from the ann that way everybody will know they have to contribute to get your token, PERIOD
