Many blockchain based platform has been used actually, Ethereum is one the most used utilize the platform, we know millions of new token established on the Ethereum platform. There are also Stellar and Waves platform, that I think have almost the same function as Ethereum. And I believe there are tons of other platforms that actually are very useful but not really popular, such as Tron, Obyte, Robotina, WePower, and many other platforms, these platforms only small user now, but it will eventually grow.

Interesting, I have not heard of many of those. Wepower is a good example of what I am looking for. A coin that has utility built in but does not have to do with other coins as a utility use case. Unfortunately, I dont believe wepower is anywhere near easy to use. I also don't believe it has over 100000 transacted (in their electricity market) monthly. That's a small number and there should be at least one project that has that.

I have tested a couple different coins, each seems to be missing something necessary for adoption.
Yes, it is normal to see a lot of flaws on the blockchain since the technology is relatively new and still very much open for upgrade by anyone who can make it happen.

This is why the market is free and open source, so that if you see something that need to be added, you can make a proposal for an upgrade and when there is a consensus by the community member, the upgrade would be implemented.

The best software I've seen is Moac's. They just had a pretty big partnership with china mobile too to integrate with water purifier system. but I've heard their dapp deployment is simple and easy to customize

You can try to check hydro the software they are developing is Hydro Raindrop this is a kind of 2FA but it is more advanced and safer than traditional 2FA it is currently integrated into some company. You can read an article about it here

Have you looked into MOAC? Their microchain smart contract and cross-chain interoperability specs make it pretty impressive and it's actually being used on a large scale in China
