Daedalus sync time

I've been waiting for Daedalus for over 2 hours and it is only 6.19% synchronized--WTF! I hope this has no correlation with the efficacy of Cardano. I'm hoping that this is just a problem with the wallet.

This is a very slow process indeed. The initial sync is downloading the entire blockchain to your wallet. It took me a number of hours with a high speed connection. Just let it sit and binge watch a Netflix series and you'll be fine. After the initial sync try to sync a couple times per week. These syncs don't take a lot of time.
