Below is the transcript of my correspondence with a seller on eBay. Not to be mean, but some people...here's a link to the listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1900-1-Oz-999-Fine-Silver-Liberty-Walking-American-Silver-Eagle-Dollar-Coin-/251339415171?pt=US_Bullion_Coins&hash=item3a84ff1e83

Me:Hey,
Just to let you know the "1900" Silver Dollar you have cannot be from 1900. They only started minting them in 1986. Maybe 1990?
Her: No, It definitely says 1900 look at the pictures.
Me: If you say so. I know for a fact though that Silver Eagles were not produced like that until 1987. I work at a coin store.
Me: 1986**
Her: The pictures clearly show that it is in fact from 1900. You don't have to buy it or trust me but there's the proof.
Me: It might be a fake, thats literally the only possibility then. The US Mint did not begin producing one ounce Silver Eagles (what your coin looks like) until 1986. Care to bet?
Her: If you want it buy it, I will send it to you graciously. It's on sale because I have no use for it. There are no returns for that very same reason. You seem interested in finding out its use so purchase it. However, whether or not it is fake if for you to find out because I only really know that it states 1900 on it. If you  are sending these emails just to get me to take it off line or for any other reason, I don't appreciate it because I am just trying to sell an item I found in my house. It is on sale, there will be no betting because once this item is out of my house, it is going to be out for good, I have no interest in coins or collecting, it's just a matter of money.
Me: Lol I have no interest in buying it. I just wanted to let you know because its against eBay rules to falsely advertise an item. That is the design of a $1 1oz Silver Eagle. The Mint produces them every year. The first one was minted in 1986. If yours says "1900" its either a fake or part of a number wore off. I was just trying to help you out. If you don't believe me, take a look at this page:

Link him this, maybe he understands then: http://fakes.numismetrica.com/2012/03/29/1900-american-silver-eagle-cf-s1-1900-0001/

Or maybe he understands exactly what he is selling and doesn't care.

Hard-Headed is a GREAT [but mild lol] way to describe her

And I found the same link (I even sent the link for the Wikipedia page on Silver Eagles!), messaged it to her and haven't gotten a reply yet. If it gets more entertaining I'll update for you guys lol.
