I mean I kind of have this feeling that for the time being BTC will not increase in value because there is nothing to drive the value; no hype, no greed, nothing. I don't think it's going to happen ultimately but I think it's happening now, people are scared now and realize that btc isn't the magical potion for quick riches.

it is like saying the smart phones are going to lose their attractiveness!
this is a true statement but at the same time the silliest statement someone can make. a new technology will remain "attractive" and increase its attractiveness for as long as it is the new technology and it will be replaced by a new technology when it comes. but that won't happen for many years. specially for bitcoin that is still brand new!

Crypto is still in its early stage and The blockchain technology is here to stay. I see a continuous evolution of this technology and future use for almost everything.

It will. For those who just joined the bandwagon blindly. They will eventually lose interest to btc and the whole cryptocurrency because they thought they was fooled. They expected btc to save them from poverty and give them financial freedom faster than other means. But not a chance for the ones who know how things work and understands that it's not an easy money.

What are your opinions with this matter?

Well, Belfort is absolutely right concerning this aspect of ‘pump and dump’  schemes in the crypto world being now the biggest attractor if the sector. This being the case, he could be right also on his other assumption.

It's funny how he never actually mentions that crypto will lose its attractiveness in the article. That implies that it's a pointless fad, which it isn't because it actually offers solutions to real-world problems. He was simply saying that it's a bubble, money has already been made from it, and it will crash to zero. Nothing new as far as detractors go.

But yeah, he's just another guy speculating, like we all are. He has had first hand experience in pump and dumps, sure, but he himself acknowledged that it's just his own opinion; his is just another drop in the bucket.

Crypto is a bubble theres no doubt about that.  But the internet had a bubble and Amazon and other internet companies are the biggest in the world right now.  The burst will just rid us of shitcoins and allow the good coins to flourish as they absorb the value.

There are a lot of pump and dumps out there.  Thats inevitable for now until the market corrects and grows more.  That doesnt mean the whole asset class is a pnd lol.

If I remember correctly, once singer Prince said that he will not sell his songs on Internet because it's a fad like MTV and will lose it's popularity in the long run  Grin Grin Grin

Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, litecoin, monero, digibyte, and bitcoin cash will be more popular in the future because they are basically cryptoCURRENCY. But tokens will lose its attractiveness due to the high risk and because most have no value.

I don't give a fuck off what he's saying or what he's talking about , but why you only posting FUD in here , why you're spreading only bad news , why nobody brings us a good news to get people more comfortable confident and optimistic , why the fuck you are trying to get people more scared and run away from bitcoin and cryptocurrencies , this is not the way to get money anyway , if you want to keep the incomes only for you this not the best idea . We need more people to get involved not to push people to run away .

Did you ever lose attractiveness to money? I doubt. Cryptos are here to stay.

I understand the line of reasoning however i think its flawed. Since the beginning a means of barter/exchange was always central to our everyday life once it was salt, gold pretty much anything, we have since progressed to paper notes with assigned values. point is the means of exchange has always and will always be evolving so no one is saying bitcoins or any crypto currency will exist exactly as it is now we should hope and expect that as time progresses it will evolve into something even more amazing and wonderful than what it currently is .Mankind is always searching for better ways to achieve their goals and at this point its clear crypto currencies is the next  "starship" that will get us to the next universe and then we will take it from there.

Whether what he is saying is true or not, he is not in the right position to say that against bitcoin not because he is not knowledgeable about the subject matter, but because he lost the moral standing to do that for the fact that he has been convicted of manipulating the stock markets shows that he is not as smart as he seems.

However, from his submission, he is overtly saying that the moment volatility leaves the crypto world, its seems to be uninteresting which is something to ponder for everyone. No matter how much we want stability so that large organisations, multi-nationals can start accepting crypto currency, or even so the bitcoin can attain the status of legal tender, its is a point to note that the singular reason is why we are all still interested. Today, nothing would make me invest in the stock market and I hope the same thing wont happen to crypto eventually.

That Jordan whatever says what is good for him. I don't take seriously those comments.
I have more important things to do than to listen to that shit.
