Hi Guys,

I notice that this fan is silent however, the capacity is only 1300rpm and the miner fan is around 4000-rpm.

1- PQ542 Noctua NF-P12 PWM 120mm Cooling Fan

2- Cooler Master Jetflo 120

I know some people they put their miners inside the box but, i don't really like that way.(sorry)

My third option is to put them into mineral oil, but im worried that the glue in heatsink of IC may pull off.

Also, if i'm going to used low rpm fan (1600rpm-pwm), i would maybe used 'Thermoelectric Cooler Peltier' and blow it to the heatsink it will be silent and less maintenance.

Anyone here have a best IDEA?

Thanks

have some option that come to my head this time and let see which one i will be successful.

Option 1: Buy a silent type Fan. The problem here is that - i cant find a fan that have the same rating of the original fan - 6000rpm/4pin pwm

Option 2: Put them into box. or Foam cooler.

Option 3: Mineral Oil

Option 4. Silent Server Cabinet - a bit expensive - but for sure this will do the Job

Option 5. Refrigerator (Cooler) not the one with freezer - this could be the substitute to the Server cabinet.

Option 6. Put them outside. - not really a good Idea

Using 12" insulated air duct to silence S7s. Would probably help with S9s, just not sure how much. Take like 8 or 10 feet, cut a slit in it about a foot from one end, put the miner in with the wires coming out the slit, close slit and aim other end out a window or similar. Never did it myself, went with R4's which are quiet but have reliability issues.
