dont just fork bitcoin. learn more about crypto currency, find solutions to every day problems that available cryptos dont solve. and then code something from scratch to meet the niche.

just forking bitcoin is not inventing anything or solving anything,,
there are already over a dozen forks of bitcoin in just the last year alone. you might aswell not make another fork and just join one of their teams if all you want to do is market a coin that has no extra features

You can make your own cryptocurrency thats true, just need copy pasting skill and your pesonal coin done. But on what purpose you create that coin ? just for fun or for comunity ? Anyway creating token will be more easy.

I definitely wouldn't recommend forking your own cryptocurrency as you would most likely waste your time if you don't know what you're doing. But lets just assume you're doing this for educational purposes, then probably try out forkgen[1]. It creates a fork of bitcoin for a certain fee. Not sure if it's legit though. But yea, I really really don't suggest doing this.

hi friends, i think so much to learn if you want to make a cryptocurrency, among them is we have to know and master various knowledge about technology like blockchain, network and others.
my advice, if you really want that, try to join the team from a project.

Fork a coin is much easier than creating a new crypto currency

It gets launched and a lot of people get free coins and then they start dumping it, which almost immediately crash the price. It will not add any real value to the crypto currency space, because it offers nothing new, so it just turns into another speculative commodity. The price average out at a much lower price, from where it started and the small community built around it, just buy and sell it, to keep it alive. ^lol^
