Okay so i had a weird idea. So we humans , our brains vibrate at a certain frequency. Is there a way to capture a thought process (Or example like a 25 passphrase or mnemonic seed) in which the users thinks of the passphrase or seed , convert that into a cryptographic hash function and then use that to store their private keys using their mind? (Example using EEG devices shown here https://www.emotiv.com/epoc/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAh_DTBRCTARIsABlT9MY4IF4VJ7mpp0OO1JMteuO4DwmgdnYp7FbYca2lZyAtGX1cWrbRmY0aAjaNEALw_wcB

Also with the passphrase and mnemonic seed , Users COULD theoretically send and receive transactions their thought process to send their public keys to anyone else on the network so that they can send and receive transactions with just their thought process?

I'm just throwing out ideas and wishing to hear user input and potential criticisms.

I could be wrong but if this is possible then i think i got a billion dollar idea and potentially lead to a ICO...

Interesting idea, but most likely not very reliable... trying to use thought processes and parsing them in readable code is a very dangerous thing. The translation wouldn't be accurate most likely. It's like these experiments where people try to play a video game with their mind, the tracking is very jerky and not smooth. This in the context of bitcoin would result in a bad seed which would lead to loss of money, because you would get words of the seed mixed with what you you are going to dinner later and whatever. You could also sending money to the wrong address.
If one could accurately translate the words you are thinking into text then it would be the end of privacy, since you could read minds. This is sci fi basically. Better stick to good ol wallet.dat or memorize your seed and put them in software with your hands, not with your mind.

Unfortunately, we're not there yet.
Today, we can barely issue precise commands on a computer using that "EEG" Devices.
But still, they are convenient for the elderly and PWD. Not for the public.

There are things to consider and requires further research before we can make a better device that suits what your description needs.
EEG devices were built using our current technology, your idea is not weird at all but it requires a different device that must come up to a different approach.

Unfortunately again, we're not there yet.
First, it cannot read our thoughts or read the words we are thinking, it simply translate the readings from our brain activity into a command.
Second, The readings are not 100% accurate or it can be tuned to read accurately but, brain activity has too many noises. Years of training is a must.
Lastly, it's so way more unconventional than the conventional options we have now.

We are so far away from this that when this will be possible, the adoption of this technology would be so high that this idea would be just a specific case of a widely implemented idea, like some sort of EEG keyboard.

So in other words, you need such a technology for this that this case would be trivial and largely unimportant.
It would be like making a keyboard that you can only type emails with (or only your passwords, to be more relevant), no point in that.

Well in the distant future when AIs run the world the only way to keep information private from other AIs is to use human slaves to validate blocks by hand in totally off-grid labor camps. It's possible in a parallel universe thoughts have been cracked and they are insecure, but in this one we're safe. On the other hand analyzing electrical and fan frequencies in computers can be used to discover what a computer is doing, so it's not totally out of the analogy. Some people think the human brain processes information in a quantum manner, which would be very hard to crack for the time being.

Mainstream eCommerce protocol that leverages decentralization to provide incentives to brands and shoppers. Open sourced with APIs for Stripe, Shopify, and all the major shipping companies. Get your business on the blockchain and fight monopolistic middle men.

Interesting idea , putting an end to privacy ... double edged sword Sad

Interesting , So there would need to be some sort of middleman watching the transactions and deciphering it to properly conduct the experiment...So we would need exponential amounts of data sets to be able to fully be able to use the protocol... Hmm

We are so far away from this that when this will be possible, the adoption of this technology would be so high that this idea would be just a specific case of a widely implemented idea, like some sort of EEG keyboard.

It would be like making a keyboard that you can only type emails with (or only your passwords, to be more relevant), no point in that.

So there would have to be more use cases for this protocol to work hmm.

If your proposed system requires special devices, then I don't see what's the point of doing this - you are simply replacing one device (a phone or a computer) with another (EEG device). If you want people to have Bitcoin wallets installed in their brain, it will happen when/if people will come up with cybernatic brain implanats. Meanwhile, we can already store Bitcoin keys and other strings, like for example addresses, in mnemonic form in our minds. So, you can memorize mnemonic representation of your Bitcoin address and give to other people so they can send you coins, while at the same time not having it in physical form with you, so if you will get robbed or searched, your adress will not get exposed. But this scheme requires you to either reuse your address, which is very bad for privacy, or memorize new addresses each time after you've used one.

https://www.ischool.berkeley.edu/news/2013/new-research-computers-can-identify-you-your-thoughts

This study shows that EEG technology already exists to identify one person from another by their brainwaves, and the team involved were working to use this as a replacement for usernames and passwords.

To capture an actual string of words, the more likely technology is fMRI, but this is a long way off and hugely expensive.
