I have been waiting for 2 days for deepbit to accept my share request. On the bottom of my GUIminer it says 0 shares accept. Am I doing some thing wrong?

I believe that you do not "wait" for Deepbit, or any mining pool, to accept a share. You have to mine a share, then it will be accepted. Problem is, you have not mined a share yet. It is not actually a "request".
