I'm still new in crypto. But I maybe recognized a nice opportunity for profits.

Can some of the more experienced users give me examples of airdrops or hardforks in 2017? Based on this I will do an analysis.

My feeling is that an airdrop/fork often cause the same behaviour. A rise in price before the airdrop with a peak 2-5 days before the airdrop / fork. Then a small dip till fork/airdrop and then a massive decrease.

Already on my radar:
Bitcoin - Bitcoin Cash
Bitcoin - Bitcoin Gold
ETH - EtherZero
NXT - IGNIS

Would be nice, if you can help me. I will share my analysis.

Not every fork is the same, so you can't make general conclusions out of analysing some forks.
If the new coin is valued, then you will get some pump before the fork.
Even if I don't like the new coin, I am buying the base one, because I know it will pump and I may sell before the fork.
Keep in mind that you can't be the first one that sells after the fork. Forget about it.
