wow, thats really a good news for all of us
Atlast, there is a slight relief

unfortunately it is.
but news of banning or not banning bitcoin should not affect it ever. we need to reach a state when everyone understands that bitcoin was created in a way that what the government thinks about it is never of any importance. whether they ban it or not ban it should not be something that bitcoin cares about.
It's OK that from bitcoin's point of view ban is a neutral thing, but for the Average Joes the official acceptance and regulation makes bitcoin a more trustable thing, so it can help the mass adoption somehow. Bitcoin can work if it's banned everywhere, but it would restrict the use of if. If it's an accepted thing, people will give a try much easier. The mass adoption is a good thing to reduce the volatility but it brings some restrictions or regulations... not sure which is better, volatility or regulation... but Average Joes would simply go for the regulations in order to reduce volatility...

Between the ending of December till January all we heard were (rumors) Bitcoin bans from country after country.

FTFY.

Rumors, rumors and more rumors.
And in the end, there was no ban, at least not in the countries that everybody talked about.

If I'm not mistaken the only ones that did enforce a ban were the Indonesian CB but they were against BTC for years.

Finally all the countries will accept cryptocurrecnies. If they were supposed to ban bitcoin, they had banned in till now. I think all the news we were hearing in January and early February were some rumors to manipulate the prices. Good news are coming.

I also have to say this:

THANK YOU FOR THE FUDS THAT HAD CAUSED THE CRASH!!!  Grin

Providing me with the opportunity to purchase BTC at close to 5kUSD again! -- I injected at 6.1k USD.

I believe the rock bottom if there is another crash would be yet again higher than the one before.

I just noticed how Europeans appriciate the blockchain technology. A good news indeed.  This will encourage some minor investors to trust Bitcoin and will help to increase its value. On the other hand, although Bitcoin has been already used into criminal activities and there are a lot of scammer, but still its a bold move for the US. Again it will encourage more people. So, i guess this will end all the FUD, Bitcoin is about to bounce back.

This is very positive news, after the FUD 2 weeks ago about countries banning cryptocurrencies. Governments are concerned about the scams, which they want to prevent and protect customers. But we still have to be cautious, G20 will discus cryptocurrencies in March.

A lot of positive news are now coming that seems to affect the current market situation of bitcoin and all other alts. I hope this good things will continue and recoveries of value of cryptos goes up again. If governments will really takes time to appreciate cryptos they will know that this can really help the economy.
