It is slowly dipping again.
I usually do this when I see no reason for a coin being pumped.

For LTC/XLM, there are positive news of massive adoption and growth on the front.

And as for ADA and TRX, significant announcements will be made next mths about their progress (with TRX releasing their mainnet soon -- i.e. they will soon have a real product to show for and they have been very actively getting TRX adopted that many doesn't know as they have refrained from hype now).


But as for the case of Bitcoin Cash, there is a massive FUD with Microsoft expressing the flaws of On-Chain scaling solution that Bitcoin Cash uses (which compromises the integrity and security of the blockchain itself).

But jokes aside, I do think it might be yet another pump-and-dump scheme. I don't see any gradual upward movement other than those two pumps (very likely by a single whale) on 8Feb and today. But other than there, its been going sideways in reality.

Is that whale waiting to do a single massive dump once the volume trading at the current new higher price have been met (to enable the BCash to be fully sold off successfully in one shot at a significant profit)?

I am not a supporter of the BCC project, so I can not say anything in favor of this project, only that now the project is going through not the best time and I would also like to note that its need will disappear immediately after the introduction of lightning into the network.

I don't know the exchange that started the pump but we all know that Roger have contacts on most of the big exchanges and can be the one that is pumping his baby himself, I have not read his response to Microsoft publication on why Bcash can not scale they way Roger and co thinks would scale

Increasing the block size is only a temp solution; but at the huge expense of compromising the integrity/security of the block-chain itself -- not a good idea at all, and certainly can't qualify that as an innovation to solve the problem that PoW based cryptos generally have.

Well, on a good note it is about time that something happens to BCC. The integrity of the team behind is really not nice. Just the fact that they decieve people into buying their coin as Bitcoin itself is enough for people to loose trust over time. I happen to be one of them, I learned about crypto in october 2017 right before the fork and right before the huge pump and dump. It was not a fun experience for me, as a naive crypto trader I jumped right in. Not a lot but still waiting the right time to dump the few tokens I have. I hope it reach the levels I want soon, then i will say good bye to it and never ever buy again. I rather invest in coins that have integrity and the ones that are working hard for long time sucess rather than the one that works hard to steal sucess. Investing in BCC is certaintly one of my crypto regrets! Great comment by the way.

One thing that I prefer and was with LiteCoin was that at least its founder is not trying to market it as the next Bitcoin, but to build a unique place for Litecoin itself, where BTC is the gold standard (being the "STANDARD" coin that every other coins are traded against, + the main link btwn cryptos and Fiats); while LTC functions as its little brother to fulfil certain things that BTC is bad at.

I am sorry to hear about ppl getting scammed by the BTC/BCH confusion. This is very bad for the whole crypto ecosystem that was generated by BCH imo.

I seriously hope that other small investors like me would dump BCash now that it is pumped, and to collect the profit at this very good opportunity, so that the whale(s) that have pumped it would significantly lose money.

 

A sudden growth in value for a coin such as this, preceded and followed by side-ways trend always screams to me as a "pump-and-dump"; or at least something that isn't based on anything "real".

This is just a good opportunity for you,if there is fundamentals with any coin that is being pumped surely it is just a manipulation from these big players and you can join the hype but secure your profits fast because you could lose if your greed attacks,Roger Ver wants to prove something to microsoft's statement that is why he is doing this pump.

Cardano (ADA) is gonna be making an announcement about their development progress soon in the next few months. That is gonna generate FOMO.
Definitely a coin that is safe to HODL, with a reputable team behind it, and a sound vision. Being a scientific researcher, I love their philosophy of subjecting their implementations to the stringent scientific peer-review process -- i.e. they are really putting it all in to ensuring that they are creating a reliable network that investors do not have to simply believe their word on -- but can look up their peer-reviewed published articles in Journals.

in my opinion, bitcoin is altcoin which has no purpose in the future, so bitcoin cash just follow value and market price, bitcoin rise then BCH also go up.

I do not like the bitcoin cash formality, and I think bitcoin cash will not last long, I prefer altcoin like NEO, Ripple, ADA, ETH, LTC and altcoin which have good growth.

I sold all BCH as I got it. In my opinion, everybody needs to forget it as a nightmare;) Remeber when it was pumped to 2400 and main exchange closed for a short period till BCH become a 1200) this is like casino, with stolen name) You can make a profit there but it easily will take all your money at one day)

I never had much to begin with, but am glad I sold all of it as soon as I was able to. Too much of a headache to maintain yet another wallet for one, and til today I never found any merchant or place I use that's accepted Bitcoin Cash. Even piratebay, whom I'd have donated it to, doesn't want it... that says a lot for the coin that pretends to be Bitcoin.

I'm just glad they got what they want and can leave Bitcoin alone now. Just wish they'd stop confusing people with their propaganda about "real Bitcoin".
