The objective in Afghanistan is multi-purpose:

1. Further weaken the U.S. for globalization.
2. Control the oil pipelines to China.
3. Destroy the Afghan culture in preparation for modernization/domination.  This is done by:
   a. Continued the poppy production. (The Taliban actually halted production before the U.S. invaded.)
