As the title says...
Is there any way to monitor hbm errors on rx vega cards? Would help with fine-tuning overclocks, like on polaris gpus...

Have you been trying HWinfo?
Overclocking is easy, you only need to increase (MemcClock, CoreClock and or PowLimit) step by step till you get stable one. Sometimes you need to decrease one of those elements to get stable one.

If you compile yourself the XMR-STAK from dev branch it will be different than the 2.2.0 version.

The latest identify the card that gives u error.
From my rig with 6, only card 2 is giving me invalid results.

Hwinfo does not show mem errors on hbm memory.

I'm using Cast XMR.
No card gives any error when mining. There's just one that mines a bit slower so I'm trying to identify the root cause.
