Yes there are a lot of $1-$5 airdrops around. Have been participating in a lot of them. But for instance Ethereum BLUE did an airdrop last year which is now worth about ~700 USD and was worth a lot more before the crash is January.

Can't hurt spending a couple min each day doing 3-4 airdrops imo.

Airdrops are good. I have participated in some which turned out to be very cool and some that are worthless. The logic about airdrop is get in, follow the project learn one or two things about the project and if it hits exchange, sell the ones you can as some at the end of the day on hitting exchange, the Devs cash out and exit.

Joining airdrop have no assurance that you will earn the promised money, some airdrop is scams, some of them are not profitable and ended up no value.
some (rare) of them are really good and you can earn a lot of money and that is JACKPOT.
there's nothing wrong in joining airdrop as it is a simple task and waits.
you can do this while having a bounty. so better join both of them.
