Hi guys,

I have 2 mining rigs AMD rx570. One of them works fine. The other one crashes sometimes. (has the same settings) I got help from the store that i bought them. First we thought that is was the power supply. But when the checked it it was all fine. I think i found the problem. I have them in in a small room. When i close the door of the room one of the rigs crashes in like 30 minutes. When i open the door it works fine. When the temperature is rising outside en inside the house the rig also has more crashes. I think it is the temperature of the rig. The GPU cards get around 60-65 degrees. I think its the CPU? I have installed a program what tells me that the CPU get 35-40 degrees.

Does someone has the same problem or knows how to check what the problem is? I think it is strange that one of the rigs works fine but the other one has that much problems.

I hope someone can help me out with this.

65-70 is perfectly acceptable for GPU mining, I don't think the issue is actually related to temps in this case or card temps just rise too quickly to be monitored. From the information you've given us, all the temps seem okay. Before crashing, do the cards get to 100C or something of the sort?

I had the same problems with the door  Wink, before. But it's happened to my R9 rig (we know that this series was prone to overheat). When my Mining room door's open, that rig was okay, but when closed, soon this rig will crash.

I add a few additional fans to this rig, and the problem was gone. But I'm not sure related to your issue, you have reasonable temps on your whole devices. Maybe you need to start troubleshooting with lowering your cards setting. Then also, do another analysis of what possible may causing this.

You must install a cooling unit
Or install a fan to push hot air out of the room
This is the best heat solution
