I have had transaction just once i think, using BTC and it was not stressful doing it. Although i was very curious at first and there was this anxiety because it was my very first time. It was a landed property i wanted to buy and the person told me that i have the option of paying either with fiat or Bitcoin. He was a well known person and i was not afraid of dealing with a fraudster. It went smoothly and the transaction was closed perfectly well. That does not mean that i can have a transaction of such nature with just anybody.

Never really had a problem paying with BTC trough payment processors like BitPay. Transaction fees we're not a problem and the waiting time was like five minutes.

I have had experienced paying btc in steam to buy a game when it was still accepting bitcoin. The experience IMO is just like a normal transaction but it is more convenient. I didn't have to worry about the transaction fees and waiting at that time since I have done the transaction way back before halving where transaction fees aren't that high and bitcoin's blockchain is not that slow. I have no recent transactions besides that as I like to buy things offline if it is available on local stores near me.

The experience was superb in spending my bitcoin, i am paying utility bills and internet bills using my bitcoin in online website. Its very convenient to use because i do not need to go outside my house for paying bills, i can now skip those lines in paying bills.

It was a smooth transaction. The waiting time is much less on what i have expected. Regarding the fees, it was ok.

The only question I have is, what's the incentive for store owners to accept crypto? I imagine most people would  pay only for the gimmick of it at the beginning but then switch to card or cash. It's just way faster, trouble free and so on. What's the point? What am I missing here?

I buy mining equipment for btc. This is the only opportunity for me to shop directly for btc. We hear a lot about this possibility, but when it comes to specifics, we don't see any real proposals. This makes us dependent on Fiat and makes us vulnerable to banks. I look forward to the day when btc will be accepted for payment everywhere.

Putting aside the convenience factor, I think it's one step closer to the future. Getting people to pay via btc is the first step.

In my country paying for mining hardware with crypto is a common thing , sellers here will always offer you the option of paying with crypto as well as in cash , some sellers offers to buy from amazon for you with small % added and you pay them with crypto something like purse but local and face to face .

I do not have any experience when paying with bitcoin. Because my country is not for bitcoin, they prohibit bitcoin. So my country does not have a bitcoin payment service. We can only pay by cash or by credit card. It was quite a disadvantage for me to put all of my assets at USDT. Cry

Do you mean online or in a store? Because both is real life Cheesy
I used Bitcoin several times online, even several years ago which... I regret - a bit.

I used DGB in a store in the Netherlands once, was pretty easy but also a weird feeling.

What I learned from it though was this: Never, EVER check the prices after you bought something, else you end up with jeans for $8k  Roll Eyes

In the town, I'm living there is no one accepting cryptos. Just an accountant who accepts Bitcoin, but I don't need an accountant. So my experience is zero. I've made some transactions myself to see how to use a wallet, and that's it. I'm planning next month to travel to a city, where they accept cryptos and there are 2 or 3 ATMs selling and buying them. This one will be my 1st experience and I hope not the last one.

In my country, cryptos are used for online payments for almost the necessary bills for the household. You can also pay your credit cards, bank loans, and even buy game credits and cellular loads. Regarding the transaction fee, there are some banks or bills that doesn't have fees but if there is, I would say that it is at minimal  maybe 5% at highest. The transaction time is maybe atmost 2 or 3 working days depending on the amount of payment due. The larger the amount, the longer it would take.

First time I payed with crypto, I was scammed by the seller. Thereafter I use escrow and it had been a good experience thereafter. I recommend everyone to use escrow for bitcoin transactions.

I ever paid steam games and used bitcoin debit card service. I dealt with it when bitcoin doesn't get any scalability fixed, and I was spending a high fee to do a single transaction.

But it looks like scalability problem of bitcoin getting fixed right now.

This time I was only using a debit card from tenx.
