Long time lurker first-time poster here, you guys have established a wonderful thriving community here and I wish you all the best.

I wanted to get your opinion/advice on a basic bitcoin exchange model I want to deploy. A quick background before I start, I am not from the US but from a relatively cash rich region who is hungry to get into cyrptos but don't have the right channels because of regulations, kyc, aml and you name it.

I have been thinking of starting an exchange by using woocommerce bitcoin plugins and stripe integration. Whereas instead of products I will offer to either buy or sell crypto (I have worked the backend actual fiat movement of the funds so that isn't an issue at this stage)

What I am more concerned about is whether this set-up could work, i.e will I be able to sell bitcoin for example in exhange for stripe payments (receive cash to my fiat bank account) and buy bitcoins by woocommerce plugin?

Although I cannot help with the technical side I would advise that a major problem would be gaining trust from site members. Would you be using an escrow or would you go first? Best of luck with your project.
